We learned about the life cycle of the butterfly. We used different materials such as cotton balls, plasticine, tissue paper, etc. to show the four stages. We picked the egg, caterpillar, pupa and butterfly to illustrate. This was an activity from our grade two integrated unit on circles and cycles.
