Dear Student,
Jamboo. I was born in Nova Scotia, but I live in P.E.I now. My community is a French community, but I can’t speak French, but I know some Swahili like Kwaheri, Asante sana, Jamboo, Habati, Karibu, and Mzuri.
That's all I know, but I would like to learn more. My country is Canada.
It’s just north east of United States.
We are done of Halloween now just coming into winter. Winter is my favorite season because it snows in winter, and we can make snow forts.
I came from a small family. I have one 6 year old sister her name is Madison a mother her name is Barbara and I have a step father who’s name is Marvin then there is me I’m 12 yearsold.
I love playing hockey in fact I want to be in the NHL when I grow up.
My mom now works as a pharmacist my step father works at Humpty Dumpty he makes chips.
My house is pretty big it has a bathroom, a living room, kitchen, and three bedrooms. It has three levels an upstairs a downstairs and a basement. I don’t know how old it is, but it’s probably about 20-30 yearsold.
The name of my school is Miscouche Consolidated School. It has at least 288 students in it, and my class has 35 students in it
- 14 girls, 21 boys. My school goes from grades 1-9. My class room is fairly big.
It has lockers in it, as well as 2 closets and a chalk board,3 computers, and a desk and chairs for everyone.
Some of the subjects I take are Language Arts, Math, Grammer Skills, French, Health, Social Studies, Science, and Gym.
Gym is my favorite subject because I'm very athletic and I like playing sports.
I have a question to ask you. Does it snow in Kenya? I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours Sincerely,
A Grade 7 student
