We ended our unit by holding a Diversity Day celebration in our classroom. It was an exciting day because the students learned a lot from one another about their families, cultures and talents. The students brought in a variety of items to share: family photo albums, instruments, treasured artifacts and keepsakes, stories of family history, cultural garments and food. Some students even entertained us with their musical and dance talents. We took digital photos of our day so share with others!
