Innovators and Inventors

Introduction

My topic is Innovators and Inventors. I chose this topic because I wanted to learn more about the people of the island and I wanted to find out who was famous and what they were famous for. When I started this project I did not even know what an Innovator was. I now know what an Innovator is and I know many that live on the island.

Interview

When I did my interview I learned that there were and are many Canadian Innovators and Inventors. The person that I interviewed talked a lot about what times were like when she was a little girl and she told me about some inventors that she knew of. It was actually a lot more interesting than I  expected it to be. It was really awesome and I enjoyed it a lot! I also learned that there were many Innovators when she was a little girl, one of them was Anne Cools, who was the first black female senator.

 My topic is innovators and inventors. I need to understand how people come up with ideas that become famous and become something that we cannot live without or help us dramatically in some way. I need to know this because it amazes me that people who come up with what might seem to be the strangest inventions we have ever heard, may become one of the most famous inventions in the world. Are there any inventors or innovators that are still alive today? Do all inventors have to invent a object to be known as a inventor? What kinds of innovators are there on the island? Are innovators and inventors the same in some ways? If so how? I think that people just realize how things could be made easier and more fun than a chore if we had certain things to help us or do it for us. I am almost certain that there are some, if not many, inventors that are still alive today. No, not all inventors have to invent an object or something that we can hold or see to be famous inventors. There are people that have come up with many concepts and theories that help us in many ways. There are innovators such as people who are the first to survive doing something such as people that have for example did something strenuous that a normal being wouldn't be expected to be able to do. Yes, innovators and inventors are the same in some ways because they are all famous and they have all done something unique whether it be inventing an actual object or doing something incredible for the first time ever. I plan to use the internet and other resources to help me find out the names of some famous innovators and inventors and help me show the community or my fellow classmates how important these people are in our lives, dead or alive.
