To celebrate this event, we had a pancake flipping contest! The pancakes were made earlier in the day (cold for the contest!) and each student was given a fry pan and a cake.
Flips were judged on originality, creativity, and if the pancake survived!
JUMP ROPE FOR HEART / HOOPS FOR HEART A project designed by the PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation, this fund raising event serves to educate students on the importance of 'heart smart' activities. Students had a great hour of fun skipping in various stations around the gym. Our older students (grades 6 - 9) shot hoops and demonstrated other basketball skills as part of their Hoops for Heart campaign. The Heart & Stroke foundation website is on our Links page.
