MRHS CHEMISTRY WEBSITE
This is a grassroots project in which students were challenged to write a webpage that would assist other students in grade 11 chemistry. The students involved had taken grade 11 chemistry. These students searched the internet to find a good periodic table and other pertinent information. They also used their Addison/Wesley chemistry book and their notes as sources of information. Next the students worked seperately and in pairs to develop pages to explain chemistry. All of the html code was completed by the students. A grade 12 computer student then evaluated the pages to enhance the organization of the site and fix any errors.
The following page deals with entirely chemistry. There is a page on the periodic table, the atom, moles, electron configuration, types of chemistry, balancing equations and a page on the MRHS chemistry faculty. On the faculty page there is a picture of the two chemistry teachers and if you click on the picture it will take you to MRHS science page. At the bottom of page are links to other pages we made that have to deal with chemistry. Also if you are interested there are is a link to a website that has to deal with science related jobs(bottom of the page).
