Thanks goes out to all parents, friends and community members who supported this years' magazine fundraising campaign. In all, nearly $27,000.00 was raised by the students with 7C leading the way with $5759.00 in sales. The numbers are still being processed so stay tuned for a final tally.

Students participated today in the Annual Terry Fox Run for Cancer. Students proudly walked and ran through our community in support of Terry's dream to raise money for cancer research. There was a collection of spare change and any student wishing to wear his or her hat all day, was allowed to for a 1 dollar fee. To date, more than $400 million dollars has been raised worldwide in Terry's name. (Source: www.terryfoxrun.org)

MIS is participating in StudentVote. Students "vote" for their choice of candidate for the Cardigan Riding in the upcoming federal election. MIS students will vote on Friday, Oct. 10. We will compare our results with the actual results of Oct.14.
