Before you begin... you should create a sub folder in ITC401 called IMAGES
Graphics Assignment #1

• This assignment MUST be done using PAINTBRUSH. 

• The image should be approximately 700 pixels by 250 pixels.

• You are not permitted to uses any of the tools except the brush, eraser & zoom for this assignment. 

• Exception:  for drafting sections of your page, before you begin, you may use the line tool.

• You are to produce the letters MRHS in Large Block Letters.

• The image must have a balanced look. 

• The letters should have a Shadow  or some other feature to give them a 3D effect.

The Final Image should be saved in BMP format in your Art folder. 
FILENAME: MRHS.BMP

Method of Delivery. 
- open a word processor (MS Word)
- Insert your MRHS.BMP file into your document. 
- Size it appropriately in the center of your page.
-Type in the necessary personal and class information at the top left.
- Print and submit to the IN TRAY.

Graphics Assignment #2

Use the Internet to find a logo of your choice.  (It could be your favorite NHL Team logo, a designer product logo...the choice is yours. )

• You are to produce a high quality logo.

• The image will be produce in BMP format.

• Approximate canvas size 500 pixels.  You can decide what your final shape will be (square, rectangular, portrait or landscape orientation).

• This assignment should be done completely with PAINTBRUSH

• You are permitted to look at your original logo as much as you like, but your ARE NOT PERMITTED to copy any part of that logo.

• You should use ZOOM mode a lot so that you will paint by pixels (the little squares) This will make  your logo's details as clear as possible.

• Use of  any of the PAINTBRUSH TOOLS is permitted.

The final product should be saved in your IMAGES Folder.

Method of Delivery.

Graphics Assignment #3

• You are to create a digital graphics art file on a TOPIC OF YOUR CHOICE.  The final product should be in the range of 400 - 500 pixels in width or height.

• The image should have a full background.

• Scanned art is acceptable, provided it is an original pencil drawing.

• This assignment is to be done using Paintbrush, Paintshop Pro, or some other imaging software that you may have access to.

• The work should be completely original.

The final product should be saved in your IMAGES folder with a suitable name.
