Recipes for Peace

Welcome to grade 2/3's "Recipes For Peace." We have experienced great learning and lots of fun creating "Recipes For Peace". In conjunction with our effort to create a more "Peaceful School" grade 2/3 have shared wonderful ideas and thoughts for making every day a peaceful day.

The students have written recipes for peace, written and illustrated ways of peace, written list poetry of "Joy," "Happiness," "Kindness" and "Love," created kindness word searches, a crossword puzzle and jigsaw puzzles, learned the art of creating peace cranes and explored them on the Internet. Together we explored the skills in scanning, taking digital pictures, creating puzzles, word searches, and crosswords .

The students have enjoyed this journey of learning. They have wonderful ideas and thoughts to share and we hope you enjoy visiting "Recipes For Peace."
