Leadership
Each year O'Leary Elementary runs a leadership program.  Students apply for leadership and go through an extensive interview process.  Because leadership students set an example for other students, and represent our school, they are chosen based on their attitude, values, ethics, character, knowledge, and skills.  These characteristics are reflected in our Leadership Code of Responsibility.

Throughout the year the leadership students are responsible for helping organize various activities including: a "welcome back" assembly, outdoor sports, indoor rain activities, and holiday activities.  Leadership students will also offer peer support, help run a homework club, and assist with lunch duties within an assigned homeroom.

Leadership students work hard all year round to help ensure a happy and successful school year.  They give up much of their own time to dedicate themselves to the leadership program, and to their fellow peers.  Their effort and dedication are truly admirable.
