Tami Martell is a mother of six. After dealing with one of her children being verbally abused at school, and no one doing anything about it Tami decided to fight back. But to fight back in a different kind of a way. A way that would make a difference, not just for her child but for all Island children. The old saying" sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me" was NOT true....
Life Membership Award
(More Details... | Application | Recipients)Life Membership in the Prince Edward Island Home and School Federation may be conferred by vote at a Federation Board Meeting, on any person for outstanding service in the provincial Federation. Nomination for such membership shall be presented by the President of the Federation or their designate. Nominees must be endorsed by the Board of Regional Directors.
Annual Volunteer Award
(More Details... | Application | Recipients)The Prince Edward Island Home and School Federation is pleased to announce the Annual Volunteer Award for exceptional contribution to the total well-being of children and youth in PEI through service at the Local Home and School Association level.
The Volunteer Award will acknowledge and recognize the valuable contributions and achievements of excellence of individuals within a Home and School Association. One award will be presented annually during the Annual Meeting. The Board Members of the Federation will constitute the Selection committee for the award.
