High School Golf Information
Each of the participating schools has been asked to host a tournament.
In order for a tournament to take place, there must be at least two high schools represented.
Each school will be allowed to have a maximum of eight golfers in any given tournament. In order for a golfer to be eligible for the Provincial High School Golf Championship Tournament, the golfer must compete in at least two tournaments.
NOTE: For this year only.. The Kensington Tournament will count as two (2) tournaments for qualifying purposes.
The Provincial High School Championship will be held on Tuesday October 14th, 2003 at Brudenell River Golf Course. Each team is allowed to enter two teams of four with the top three scored from each team used to determine team score. There will be a "AA" and "A" Provincial Championship. Each school will be allowed to enter one team of four golfers for each championship. The green fees will be covered by the Department of Education for each team.
There will also be an Individual and Team Girls Provincial Championship. To be eligible for this championship, the golfer must compete in at least two High School Tournaments.
Scores for all championships will be gross scores.
