| Brief
History A meeting in December of 1961 formed the Prince Edward Island Interscholastic Athletic Association (PEIIAA). The first executive consisted of Charles Ballem, A.J. MacAdam, Rev. Francis Cameron, Bob Mills, Reg Pendergast, Don LeClair, and Dave Boswell. In 1972 the name was changed to the PEI Physical Education Association Interscholastic Committee. The name was then modified to the Prince Edward Island School Athletic Association in 1974 and the PEISAA continues, to the present, with its role of administering school sport in the province. |
