The Prince Edward Island Teacher-Librarians´ Association (PEITLA) acts
as the voice of a group of committed educators dedicated to improving school
library programs and services for all students on Prince Edward Island. This
means equal access to a wide range of print, non-print and electronic
resources; equal access to qualified teacher-librarians who manage the school
library facility, and who work with all teachers to develop information
literacy and promote lifelong learning.
