DAY 2
MEETINGS

Peer Helpers - block meeting Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in room 245.

ATTENTION GRADS

Grad Photo Clarification: If you are planning on purchasing your grad photo package from Heckert Studio, you should have booked an appointment for a grad photo sitting at the Student Store last week.  If you are planning on purchasing your grad photo package from another studio, you do no need an appointment.  You will be photographed by homeroom class (2 shots).  The homeroom sitting is free of charge.  

Representatives from Quebec Universities will be making presentations in the Lecture Theatre on September 26th at 11:30 a.m.  The following universities will be present: McGill, Bishop & Concordia.

A representative from St. Thomas University in Fredericton will be in Student Services on Thursday, Sept. 25th at 11:30 a.m.  St. Thomas is a Liberal Arts University with excellent Social Work & Journalism programs.

SPORTS

Cross Country Running team will practice today and Wednesday of this week at 3:20 p.m.  All runners who plan to participate in the zones on October 2nd must pass in their permission form ASAP.  See Mrs. Hovingh if you don’t have one yet.

All golfers who are playing at green gables on Saturday, please meet with Mr. MacFadyen at 11:35 a.m. in the Wellness Room.

“A” Boys Soccer meeting (no gear) today at 3:30 p.m.  Full practice on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

Library will be closed after school on Tuesday and Wednesday.

A representative from the Canadian Regular Forces and Reserves will be visiting at lunch time on September 25th.  Recruiting Displays will be set up in the lobby.

Canoe trip meeting today in room 308 at 11:40 a.m.

SPORTS

Cross Country Running team will practice on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week at 3:20 p.m.  All runners who plan to participate in the zones on October 2nd must pass in their permission form ASAP.  See Mrs. Hovingh if you don’t have one yet.

CRHS AA Soccer - players are to note the following game times today at the Cornwall turf.  All players are to be present at 45 minutes before start.
Girls at 5:00 p.m.
Boys at 6:15 p.m.

BUS CHANGES

The following bus changes will be effective Monday, September 22, 2008 for MORNING ONLY

Students who currently travel on Bus 139, Howard Dunlop, in the morning from York area (York Road and Vessey Subdivision) will now travel on Bus 174, Mike McCloskey.  Mike will pick up at approximately 8:20 a.m.
Students who currently travel on Bus 128, Karen Power, in the morning from East Royalty area (MacRae Dr., East Royalty Road, etc,) will now travel on Bus 139, Howard Dunlop.  Howard will pick up at approximately 7:45 a.m.

MEETINGS

Canoe Trip meeting at 11:40 a.m. in room 308.

Cape Farewell - Shawn White’s live Blog will take place at 12 noon in room 308.

BUS CHANGES

Applications for the Loran scholarship, previously referred to as the Canadian Merit scholarship, are now available online at www.loranaward.ca or at student services.  Character, service and leadership are the selection criteria for Loran Awards.  For more information contact Student Services.  Students who are interested in being sponsored as this years applicant form C.R.H.S. should have their applications in to Student Services by Wednesday, Oct. 8th.

Special Olympics PEI - is kicking off the start of another program year by holding registration nights in 4 locations across P.E.I. from September 22 - 25, 2008.  Anyone interested in becoming a coach, athlete or volunteer, can join us for one of these events.

Terry Fox - a reminder Terry Fox run/walk is Tuesday, Sept. 16th at 11:00 a.m.  Bring your walking shoes and keep bring in your donations.  Lets raise some serious cash for Cancer Research.

Golf - There will be a meeting for these people tryout out for the golf teams today at 11:40 a.m. In the Lecture Theatre.  If you are playing Wednesday you must attend this meeting.

Field Hockey meeting today at lunch in cafeteria.  All plyers must attend to receive jerseys and info on game tonight.
