The Core French program begins in Grade Four at Sherwood Elementary School.  Students in Grades Four and Five receive thirty minutes of instruction, five days in a cycle.  Grade Six students receive instruction for thirty minutes every day of the six day cycle.

Grades Four, Five, and Six are now using a new program, Acti-Vie.  This program is theme-based and the students are "doing things in French."
