I would like to welcome you to the 2007/08 school year here at Summerside Intermediate School. We are a dual track school which means we offer both English and French Immersion programs in grades 7, 8 & 9. Each grade has 8 home room classes of which two are French Immersion.

Communication between our strong Parent Council and our school community is the basis for our success as a school. Parents are encouraged to be involved in their child’s school life through their academics, volunteering and/or coaching.

Summerside Intermediate is a school that is involved in students lives. We have a very successful music and sports program to go along with many clubs and organizations that help develop students as leaders in and outside of the classroom.

I would like to thank the students, staff, parents and the community of S.I.S. for their continued support and commitment to our school.
