Recently, three members of the Souris Regional High Powerlifting Team returned from a successful trip to the Canadian Powerlifting Championships in Calgary, Alberta.

 

Courtney Dill and Zack McCormack captured Gold Medals and are National Champions in their respective divisions. Rebecca Chapman won the Silver Medal in her class. And, collectively, they established eight Canadian Powerlifting Records. More importantly, all three have qualified to compete as members of Team Canada at the 2012 IPF World Championships this August in Szczryk, Poland.

 

The major component of fund raising efforts will be securing return airfare for the athletes and their coach to attend the event, and it is with this in mind I am contacting you regarding a possible donation of Aeroplan miles/points to assist us in insuring these great kids be able to attend the World Championships and represent their country on the world stage.
