Member of the PGA TOUR since 1982 and spent past two years on BUY.COM TOUR...Made his first 10 cuts of the 2001 season and missed only three cuts in 21 starts. Half of his 18 cuts made resulted in top-25 finishes. First BUY.COM TOUR victory came at Samsung Canadian PGA Championship, where he became first Canadian-born player to win the event since Ashley Chinner in 1996. Set tournament record with 17-under-par 271...Made the cut in two of three PGA TOUR events in 2001. Best finish a T23 at season-ending Southern Farm Bureau Classic...Won the 1992 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic (unofficial event), which was played opposite the Masters. Later that year, posted 19-under par total to win the Greater Milwaukee Open by two strokes over Dick Mast...Member of the 1980 Canada World Amateur Cup team. Winner of 1980 International Champions (Morocco). Won the 1981 Canadian Amateur. Member of the 1981 Brigham Young University NCAA Championship team. Roomed with Bobby Clampett for three years at BYU...Winner ofm1982 British Columbia Open on the Canadian Tour, 1984 Utah State Open...Five-time Dunhill Cup team member...Interested in the mental aspects of the game. Once wore earphones to listen to music between shots while playing, earning nickname "Disco Dick."
