These are some of the soldiers that have 

died in 2005,2004,2003,2002.

 

 

Sgt. Robert Short and Cpl. Robbie Beerenfenger were killed in October 2003 when a landmine detonated under their Iltis jeep while on patrol in the Jowz Valley, near Kabul. Four Canadians were injured.

Private Braun Scott Woodfield a 24-year-old  of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, Died November 24, 2005. The vehicle that he was traveling in rolled over while on patrol near the southern Afghan city of Kandahar.

 

Cpl Jaime Murphy a  26-year-old soldier from Conception Harbour, Nfld., was killed Tuesday January 27, 2004 near Kabul when a suicide bomber with explosives strapped to his body reportedly jumped on one of two Iltis jeeps carrying six Canadian soldiers on patrol.

The four soldiers died when a U.S. National Guard F-16 fighter jet dropped either one or two 250-kilogram laser-guided bombs during an overnight training exercise. Dead are Sgt. Marc Leger, Cpl. Ainsworth Dyer, Pte. Richard Green, and Pte. Nathan Smith. They died  April 18, 2002. There was no pictures for these four soldiers.
Sunday's suicide attack killed Glyn Berry, 59, the region's senior Foreign Affairs officer with the 250-member provincial reconstruction team which is conducting liaison and humanitarian work around Kandahar.
