The grades 4 - 8 students will be attending the play, "Christmas Rocks" on Friday, December 12, 2008. The play will begin at 11:00 and it goes for approximately 60 minutes. The cost for each student is $8.00. Each student will receive a release form that must be signed by their parent. Thank you in advance. More information to follow with regard to lunch, etc., as we get closer to the date.
Students in grades 4/5 and 5 recently enjoyed playing an exciting game of survival on the school's nature trail. As one student described it, "It was intense but awesome!"

| Parents are a very important part of the school by participating in the SKC Home and School Association, Lunch Program, classroom volunteering, and many committees. Our next meeting is Tuesday, November 18 at 7:30. The Home & School still have a number of environmentally friendly light bulbs for sale. Priced at $2.00 per bulb. They come in boxes of 6 for $10.00.

- Come and enjoy the Christmas Season by participating in the SKC Christmas Fair Thursday, December 4th, 2008, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Storm Date Friday, December 5th) with SKC students, families and staff. Through your participation and the monies raised Home & School will be able to contribute to programs and services at our school throughout the year. As well we will have an evening of fun, shopping and celebration.

- You have received the tickets for our Annual Christmas Raffle to be drawn at the Christmas Concert on December 17th. Anyone needing additional tickets can get them at the school office. Please return tickets and monies by December 15th. A pizza party will be awarded to the class selling the most tickets in grades 1-4 and 5-8.
- If you would like to order a Children’s Wish Foundation Christmas CD (the Grades 4 - 8 Choir recorded a song for the CD), please let Ms. White know. They are $10.00 and cheques can be made out to The Children’s Wish Foundation.
