Today's Picks Seafriends Kindergarten donated books to the SKC Library. Ms. White read a couple of the books to the kindergarten. The Southern Kings Nature Trail this spring will be undergoing major improvements with the addition of a raised boardwalk and fenced viewing platform built beside the wetland area.

Feature

Parents are a very important part of the school by participating in the SKC Home and School Association, Lunch Program, classroom volunteering, and many committees. Parents also are active in the school via the school's website, the Home & School Newsletter, and by attending evening events.

Highlights

On Thursday, May 22 our school will take part in the Zone Track Meet in Montague and on Thursday, May 29 the Unit Track Meet will take place in Montague. There will be more information to follow. Athletes have already begun their training at school.

SKC News

The SKC Wrestling Team scored high in the Provincial Wrestling Championships April 18 and 19 with 4 gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze medals. On May 3 and 4 at the Canada East Wrestling Extravaganza at UPEI, Terry earned a silver medal and Ryan a bronze. Both are on SKC Bantam team.
