Wind chill is the cooling temperature our body feels when our temperature and wind combine. Our body temperature makes a sort of protection from the temperature outside. The added insulation is called a boundary line. If the wind chill range 0 to -9, the rating is low. The impact is minor increasing discomfort. 10 to -24 is moderate and uncomfortable. -25 to -44 is cold and danger of frostbite. -45 to -59 is extreme and exposed skin may freeze. -60 or colder is a dangerous high risk; if possible stay indoors.
Wind chill is based on the rate of heat loss. When wind increases, the body heat decreases. If it is a cold winter day, wind chill can be everywhere. The wind chill factor is what makes wind chill. On a cold day, our body can make a thin layer of skin. The skin layer is unseen by the naked eye; It is like clothes. The greater the wind speed, the faster we lose body heat. A winter day can be colder when there is wind chill.
