The Christmas Gift Shoppe will be
open for 1 day in December and will give all students an opportunity to buy 2
gifts for some special people in their lives. All funds raised will
support the CBC Turkey Drive for the Food Bank in Charlottetown.
There will also be lots of fun happenings that day - Prize draws for all
students and a special visitor will be coming to our school!
Prices will range from 50 cents to $3.00
We will need some helpers to assist with set-up, manning the Shoppe, and
wrapping the students purchases and gifts. If you ever wanted to feel good after
volunteering, join us Dec 16th and the children will fill you with the Christmas
spirit.
Where do the gifts come from?
We ask that all students bring in 2 gifts for the Shoppe - 1 suitable for a man
and 1 suitable for a woman. You can bring in more if you wish. They can be
new items or slightly used items. Please do not break the bank buying expensive
things, as the most we sell them for is $3. But it is always fun to find a
treasure! If you can also donate used or new gift wrap, boxes, ribbons, bows,
tags and tape that will also give the students paper to wrap their gifts.
You can begin sending in the items anytime now for the Shoppe.
Send them in with your child to the office, where we will begin
sorting and organizing them for the big day, which will take place, Wednesday,
December 16th.
