Christmas Traditions in Australia

Christmas in Australia is almost like Christmas in Canada. They celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus. They open presents and eat a special meal with family members. But in Australia, the weather is very warm and people usually go to the beach on Christmas Day.  Instead of a roast turkey for dinner they usually have a Bar-B-Q.   If you went to Australia for Christmas you would see the same kinds of decorations as here, like Christmas trees and colored lights, but you would see lots of fake icicles and fake snow.

We surfed the Internet to learn about Christmas in Australia. Here are links we found interesting.
