THE BIG NEWS… We have been granted a Let Them Be Kids Helping Hands Award! What began as a long term fundraising project for the Home and School Association has been transformed into a 5 month project. The award provides a 50/50 matching grant towards the purchase of playground equipment, as well as support, training, and resources to help make this community project successful. Every 50¢ we raise, will result in $1 in buying power.

The Activity… A major build day is planned for May 26th when school staff, parents, students, Rotarians, alumni, and neighbourhood volunteers will erect the playground under the supervision of Let Them Be Kids. It is to be a celebration for the students and the community.

The Impact... The students will have a playground which is safe, stimulating, fun and lead to their physical, cognitive and social development.
