Principal's Message

Welcome to the St Louis Elementary School Home Page!

St Louis Elementary is an open area school located in the village of St Louis, P.E.I.. Students from communities of St.Edward, Miminegash, Pleasant View, Waterford, Palmer Road and DeBlois attend this school for English or French Immersion classes. As French Immersion is not offered in Alberton Elementary School, students from the Alberton district attend French Immersion classes at St Louis Elementary therefore our students come from many different areas in West Prince.

St Louis Elementary has the distinction of being the first school to offer French Immersion to students on P.E.I. and Ida Bernard was the first teacher on P.E.I. to teach French Immersion to the students.
