St. Teresa’s operates on a "six (6) day" cycle. This method ensures that if school is cancelled for some emergency students are prepared for the next day. Thus you will often hear students speak of preparing for Day 2, 4, etc., rather than Monday, Wednesday, or whatever the case may be.

School hours and Supervision of Students

We ask you to please note that Board Policy states that students are supervised from the time they arrive at school until they leave by bus. Should a situation arise where your child has to be at the school either before or after these hours, please contact the principal. Students dropped off before the bus arrives will be asked to stay outside or wait in the lobby on cold or wet days. During the recess and noon hour, students are supervised by staff members. Students are expected to obey all school rules, whether they are playing outside, participating in intramurals in the gym, or supervised in their classrooms. The loading and unloading of buses is also supervised each morning and afternoon. Obviously safety of children is our prime concern in making up these rules and regulations
