Three Oaks is pleased to be offering an introduction into aerospace course which includes
02x(2 credit), 802y(2 credits), and 604(4 credits). These courses expose students to the
theory and practical side of aviation. Within the theory element, students will build rockets
(theory of flight). In the spring of 2009 they will be taken on a flight by Tartan Air in
Charlottetown (see videos). Other aspects covered under practical applications are rivetting,
metal bending, basic electrical, inspection, and on-the-job training. These courses give the
students an opportunity to experience several aspects of aerospace which are very prevalent in our community.
