Christmas Concerts
At Christmas time, some of the classes do daytime presentations for relatives and friends. The students enjoy being "on stage" and decorating for this event.

"Spring Swing" Concerts
 

In May, the remaining classes   delight in having their turn in the spotlight. Students prepare mini plays, musical numbers, and some of their classroom work for presentation.

Sometime during February or March, Westwood celebrates "School Spirit Days". This week's goal is to make us all bring to light the things we enjoy about Westwood with: poster making, Art integrated with "peaceful schools" ideas, and other fun activities. This is a time when we celebrate how wonderful Westwood School is! Of course, we wouldn't be Westwood without each and every one of our students and staff! They are all special in their own way.

School Spirit Days usually consists of "Crazy Hat or Hair Day"; "Pyjama Day"; and other days to boost the morale of one and all!!! It is great fun, and we all enjoy the creativity of the costumes.

we celebrate the birthday of our Mascot, Westy.
