About the Western School Board of Prince Edward Island

The Western School Board is a progressive school board that is in the forefront in educational innovation.

• Our Board encompasses twenty-one schools across the western end of Prince Edward Island extending from Tignish to Kinkora.
• Many of our schools are located in quiet rural communities, yet you are never far away from scenic Island beaches nor from the capital city of Charlottetown.
